Relaxing Holiday in the South of France

Traditional French farmhouse in the Tarn region with beautiful views. Set in 122 acres of fields and woodland of chestnut and oak.
The property has 1 bedroom with double bed and 1 bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds, kitchen/ dining/ living room area, large bathroom with shower and double sink, plus a utility room. Linen is provided. There is a small patio in front of house with gas fire BBQ.
Has own entrance with parking space.
An above ground 8m x 4m swimming pool may be shared with the owners (2 Adults).
There are retired horses and ponies (sorry no riding) and a mixture of small animals on the farm. Also a large and a small pond with frogs.
Children and dogs are welcome but dogs must be kept on lead in vicinity of our animals.
Ideal for nature loving people who enjoy walks over land and through woods.

Local attractions:

The beautiful Tarn region of the Midi-Pyrenees is an area renowned for its chestnut forests, tranquil lakes and dramatic gorges.
The area is also handsomely endowed with beautiful medieval villages, colourful markets and quality restaurants.
The elegant medieval town of Albi, the capital of Tarn, is only 20 minutes by car, with its famous Gothic cathedral, the Toulouse Lautrec museum and a wealth of lovely shops and restaurants.
The climate is generally Mediterranean and reputed to have 300 plus days of sunshine a year.
Cap Découverte is a must for fun loving people with assorted outdoor attractions built in an ancient coal quarry 30 minutes by car. E.g. dry slope skiing, mini karts, Skate Park, sand beach and much more.
Also 30 minutes in another direction is a Zoo and an Attraction Park called ‘Crie de Tarzan’ (cry of Tarzan).
The river Tarn runs through the beautiful village of Ambialet just 10 minutes by car and in many places along the river you can swim and there are canoes to rent.
There are also several riding schools within a short distance.
